Authentication

RStudio Connect can integrate with a number of 3rd party products and authentication providers for user authentication. Depending on the provider or the integration standard used to integrate with the provider, varying levels of functionality will be supported for external groups of users.

Warning

RStudio Connect only supports one active authentication provider at a time. Migration from one to another is a non-trivial effort and may require both user and content conversion. It is sometimes easier (depending on what the system has been used for) to create a new RStudio Connect installation than it might be to migrate one.
